CEO KATEK SE

Hannes Niederhauser (born 1962, Austrian nationality) is CEO of Kontron AG and has been CEO of KATEK SE, which was acquired by Kontron AG, since March 4, 2024. After studying electrical engineering at Graz University of Technology, the Austrian-born engineer became a manager in the fields of microchips and embedded computing. Before joining S&T AG in 2011, Hannes was the main shareholder and CEO of the former Kontron AG from 1999 to 2007, which developed into the world’s largest provider in the field of embedded computing. Hannes Niederhauser is tirelessly driving Kontron’s growth and positioning as a leading provider of IoT solutions. Other mandates: Member of the Supervisory Board of startup300 AG in Linz, Austria

Dr. Clemens Billek

CFO KATEK SE

Clemens Billek has been CFO of KATEK SE since June 1, 2024 and a member of the Management Board of Kontron AG since 2022. As CFO of the Kontron Group, he has many years of professional experience in capital markets as well as legal, compliance and risk management at listed companies and in the field of digitalization as founder of a telemedicine platform. After starting his career at the Austrian Takeover Commission and as an investment banker at an international investment bank, Clemens Billek was most recently also head of the office of the Takeover Commission.

Dr. Marc Achhammer

Dr. Marc Achhammer has many years of international experience in the IT and telecommunications industry in the areas of operations, M&A, R&D, sales, service and portfolio management. He held senior management positions at Siemens/Gigaset, Sagemcom and Unify, where he successfully established new business areas. Most recently, he was COO and Managing Director of B2X Care Solutions.

Klauspeter Bader

CSO | Chief Sales Officer

Klauspeter Bader is a specialist in the field of corporate management and has successfully accompanied international companies and departments in their strategic reorientation. He has extensive materials management expertise and in-depth solution and process knowledge in intralogistics (dynamic storage systems).

Christoph Antener

CPO | Chief Procurement Officer

Christoph Antener has various years of international experience in the EMS and building automation sectors. He has managed complex supply chain organizations worldwide and has extensive expertise in outsourcing, purchasing optimization, change management and realignment of purchasing organizations. As part of his EMBA studies, he accompanied the successful M&A development of an EMS company and helped to achieve a sustainable increase in earnings.

Stefan Goldschmid

Group Director Business Performance

Stefan Goldschmid has worked in management consulting and in the startup sector. Due to his experience in very dynamic environments and in fast-growing companies, he is specialized in building reporting structures and creating number transparency in order to provide management with data-based decision-making tools. Since 2019 at KATEK, Stefan Goldschmid centralizes all relevant data from the group and is responsible for the implementation of strategic projects as well as digitalization measures in cooperation with the subsidiaries.

Golo Wahl

Group Director Business Development

Golo Wahl brings a broad experience in business development and sales to the KATEK Group. His professional career has been shaped by various management roles with global US companies as well as medium-sized technology leaders in Europe. The development and restructuring of intercultural sales teams is one of his key strengths as well as their successful leadership in the international EMS, ODM and OEM business. Among others, his market focus lies in the energy, industrial, automotive and smart building sectors.

Katrin Fricke studied mechanical engineering with a focus on production. She was most recently Director Corporate Strategy & Digitalization at Diehl Controls, and before that worked for many years as Production Director, Head of Logistics, as well as in other leading positions in operations at various industrial companies.

Marc Schwehm

Managing Director KATEK Mauerstetten GmbH

Marc Schwehm gained comprehensive knowledge in all areas along the electronics value chain at the Mauerstetten site during his part-time studies in business administration and business psychology. With the comprehensive expertise he gained in commercial, strategic and production areas of an electronics service provider, he was most recently responsible for commercial management. At the beginning of 2021, Marc Schwehm was appointed to the management board of KATEK Mauerstetten.

Jens Arnold

Jens Arnold is managing director of beflex electronic GmbH and brings more than 25 years of EMS industry experience to the company. Lean Management, Strategic Management, and Quality Management belong to his core competencies. After his business studies, he always accompanied strategic projects in EMS and mechanical engineering companies as managing director and partner and possesses extensive process knowledge around the electronic assembly.

Jochen Paukert

Jochen Paukert has comprehensive experience in the automotive environment. For more than 20 years he has built up business units and companies in various functions, acquiring comprehensive expertise in business development, automotive electronics system development and the reorientation of organisations.

Sven Heidenwag is a specialist in the automotive and industrial sectors. He owes his experience to many years of work in various commercial functions and thus has extensive expertise in controlling, finance and accounting, transfer pricing, group accounting and restructuring.

Martin Wühr

Martin Wühr has been at home in the automotive electronics environment for many years. For more than 25 years, he has built up business units in various functions and acquired comprehensive competences in the areas of development, strategic purchasing and sales in the automotive electronics and OEM direct business. Most recently, he was entrusted with setting up development for an American Tier 1, while at the same time being in charge of the strategic purchasing department and responsible for the group’s largest customer. Prior to that, he worked for one of the largest EMS automotive service providers as a sales manager, where he also acquired his extensive knowledge of PCB technology. Further lean management training at the University of Michigan rounds off his profile.

Dr. Arnd Karden

Dr. Arnd Karden has extensive experience as a Managing Director in manufacturing companies. For many years he worked for German corporations in various positions in Germany, Italy, Mexico, Spain and Switzerland. During his professional career, he has repeatedly successfully restructured companies and led to significant sales and earnings improvements. Dr. Arnd Karden studied mechanical engineering at RWTH Aachen University and then received his doctorate at the Laboratory for Machine Tools and Production Engineering (WZL) of RWTH Aachen University. Dr. Arnd Karden is also the Managing Director of the TeleAlarm subsidiary in Switzerland.

After studying business administration, Claudia Badstöber worked for many years as a licensed tax consultant and auditor at a renowned auditing firm. She later joined the conwert Group, one of Austria’s leading real estate companies, where she worked as CFO. Her areas of responsibility ranged from Group accounting, taxes, controlling and risk management to capital market issues. From 2011 to 2019, Claudia Badstöber was Head of Finance at Liechtensteinische Landesbank (Österreich) AG (formerly Semper Constantia Privatbank Aktiengesellschaft) and was a member of the Supervisory Board of two companies during this time. In 2019, the financial expert joined the Austro Holding and grosso holding corporate groups, where she holds the position of managing director in several companies of the respective groups. Christoph Öfele, a graduate economist, studied economics at the University of Regensburg after completing his training as a banker at Bayerische Vereinsbank. He worked as a court-appointed expert for aggrieved investors and for 15 years as a shareholder spokesman for the Schutzgemeinschaft der Kapitalanleger e.V. (German investor protection association). Christoph Öfele has been Managing Director of WAI Wirtschaftsanalysen & -informations GmbH since 1999 and Managing Director of CHO Vermögensverwaltung GmbH since 2005. Since 2000, he has been advising companies on extraordinary capital market transactions, in particular tender offers for delisted and unlisted companies.

Prof. Dr. Constanze Chwallek, resident in Aachen, Professor at Aachen University of Applied Sciences, Faculty of Economics, Aachen, Prof. Dr. Constanze Chwallek (born 1967, German nationality) studied economics and business administration in Kiel, Maastricht and Aachen from 1986. She graduated from RWTH Aachen University in 1992 with a degree in business administration and completed her doctorate in 1997 at the Chair of Corporate Accounting and Finance on the subject of the valuation relevance of published cash flow statements of listed German companies. Following her doctorate, she worked as a management consultant, focusing primarily on strategy development for international corporations and medium-sized companies in a wide range of sectors. In 2003, she was appointed to teach management and entrepreneurship at Trier University of Applied Sciences. She has been a professor of entrepreneurship at FH Aachen since 2010, specializing in corporate entrepreneurship and business model innovation.
